Domain Masmazan

Domain Mas Mazan located on the most beautiful spot of Mazan, a small village in the Vaucluse (Provence) south of Mont Ventoux. Nestling on the brow of a hill, this 3-hectare property commands stunning views all around of vast vineyards and fields. Behind, the rolling forested foothills of Mount Vaucluse hug the lovely medieval villages of St. Didier and Venasque. A little further on lies Pernes les Fontaines and the market town of Carpentras. On a clear day you can even see the famous Palais du Pape in Avignon, glowing softly at night.

After a full renovation we offer you the mas or main house, also two gîtes, furtherore one studio, also a safari tent and several bed and breakfast rooms. It is also possible to rent the entirety property for groups upto 30 persons. Ideal for family vacations, weddings, cycling trips or other special occasions.

The gorgeous views can be enjoyed from various terraces by the main house, the gîtes and the child friendly heated swimming pool. For the guests of the chambres d'hôtes breakfast is served under the canopy by a pleasant modern outdoor kitchen. There is also an BBQ and a Pizza oven availeble at the outdoor kitchen. We have free wifi. For the children we have a large trampoline and also a sandpit. A play set with swing and slide and finally a jeu the boules course for the older kids and adults. Furtherore parking places are there for everyone.

The whole domain, the mas, the gîtes Amandier and Olivier, the studio Abricot and the tent Acaci is to let for e.g. weddings, family vacations or groups of friends. There is room for 30 persons maximum.

Group accommodations

We can offer you the mas or main house, two gîtes in the adjacent smaller house, one studio, and/or several chambres d’hôtes in the mas. It is also possible to rent the property in its entirety for groups of 26 persons maximum. Ideal for family vacations, weddings, or other special occasions.

Gites & tents

We offer you 2 gites Amandier and Olivier, 1 studio Abricot and 1 Safari tent Acacia. All have private terrasses and lovely views.

Bed and Breakfast

We offer you 4 chambres d’hotes: 3 double rooms, Thym, Romarin and Abricot, plus a family room, Lavande. All three have antique tiled floors, high ceilings and highwindows with shutters, opening up to lovely views.

Garden and pool

Swimming Pool

On the southwest side of the main house you find the enclosed and solar heated communal swimming pool (5 x 12 m.). The first shallow part of about one foot deep is ideal for children, or for adults to lounge in. From there the bottom slopes down to a depth of 1.10 m., and after that to 2 m. Aside of the swimming pool there is a jacuzzi witch is a joint to the pool. The terrace is partly roofed over. There are sunbeds and a toilet, and a pool bar for soft drinks. Here, too, amazing views of the countryside.

Outdoor kitchen

For the guests staying in the chambres d’hotes we serve breakfast in our outdoor kitchen with several tables and a lounge set. This fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave and oven. It is at everyone’s disposal to prepare lunch or dinner. There is also a wonderful barbecue and a pizza oven.

Garden

Our domain is situated on a 30.000 m2 terrain, with 15.000 m2 forest. The nearest neighbors are 400 m away. The garden has a playground or the kids with a large trampoline, swing and tobogan. We have a jeu de boules field. further more there are several seat around the garden to sit quietly.

Domain Mas Mazan offers packages for cyclists and bicycle clubs based on half board.
We can accommodate groups between 6 to 26 people. We have a large number of cycling routes available from different levels. We have a bicycle navigation with a large number of routes.
